rain delay

we’ve been having a little bit of trouble on the beach this year…. we usually have a couple of days when we get some scattered showers… but it’s not a big deal because if you wait 30 min it’s usually sunny again.  However one day we had to go in because the wind picked up so bad that we were getting pelted with it.  in 6 min laying on the beach, my towl was literally about an inch and a half deep in the sand, and there wasn’t a part of me not coated.  And then it started raining.  So, we not wanting to give up on a whole day at the beach, decided to wait it out.  we sat in the garage in our beach chairs and beach attire.  it looked a little like we were in denial.
